Abstract

Some carbonized seeds recovered from plant-bearing Nidpur beds are assigned to Rostrumaspermum venkatachalae et. sp. nov. Evidence of arechegonia with short tubular neck favours identity with conifers and settles precisely pineaceous affiliations.
